2012 Game Announced

Today is kickoff! The game this year is Rebound Rumble! It is split into two parts, the autonomous period and the human operated period, with an endgame in the last few seconds of the game. The game this year is basketball-like involving each team's robot throwing foam basketballs through hoops, this is the main part of the game. We are excited to be using the Xbox Kinect in the autonomous period at the beginning of the match. Robots can also balance on a teeter-totter at the center court for extra points near the end of the game. The rest of today will be used for designing and brainstorming, an important part of the design process. Rules and other resources have been released for teams to study.

The Countdown to Kick-Off

We only have a few days until kick-off this Saturday! That is only a few days to get your payments and registrations in too. So let's get ready for a great build season. We will be very busy for these next few weeks, so make sure you're caught up on homework and everything else. Have a great few days to relax and get ready to design and build!

Reminders for Members and Parents

Team members and parents, remember to sign up on STIMS, the online registration for FIRST. STIMS must also be verified by your parents. You must also have your MSHSL forms and team registration forms turned in and ALL of your fees in. If ANY of these forms or payments are not turned in, you will not be able to participate this build season.
